We are very blessed in this part of the world to have as neighbours wonderful Bottle Nosed Dolphins. On occasions they can be seen from our windows, or from the beach below the house.

The point of the Chanonry Peninsula, (20 minutes away from us), is now Scotland’s biggest Natural History Visitor attraction.  At this point there is a narrow gap between Chanonry and the Fort George peninsula (opposite), through which all the salmon heading to our famous rivers must swim… our Dolphins are no fools!

Our friend Jacquie had the thrill of being joined by a school of Dolphins when out sailing her boat. She took the video on this page, and we thank her very much for allowing us to add it to our web site.

Please enjoy it, it is amazing!
