Old Drynie House, which is rated four stars by VisitScotland, offers the perfect accommodation option for your group booking.
Space will never be an issue, with 20 acres of mature Victorian parkland to enjoy as well as room combinations specifically designed to suit group bookings. The accommodation features several social spaces, including two lounges and a library, meaning guests will be able to enjoy time together as a group in luxurious comfortable surroundings.
We can accommodate six people in the new ‘Secret Garden‘ annex, while being able to host another six inside the main house.
The Secret Garden is located just a few meters from the main house and features beautiful views across the Secret Garden to our lawns and the sea beyond. Guests can sit in peace in the lovely lounge, next door to their bedrooms, or outside in the Secret Garden itself.
Breakfast is served in the main house.
The rooms, both in the house and the Secret Garden are of two types. One of each type in each building:
- The Family Suites comprises two large bedrooms, the Master Bedroom and Twin Bedroom, each with their own TV, Wi-Fi access, a fridge, a desk/dressing table, comfortable chairs, tea and coffee making facilities and a large shower-room shared by the two bedrooms. In the Secret Garden the Master bedroom also benefits from two double-glazed French doors each leading to a patio.
- Each of the Double Bedrooms has a large en suite bathroom attached, (with a Jacuzzi), and has TV, Wi-Fi access, a fridge, a desk/dressing table, comfortable chairs and tea and coffee making facilities. Both rooms benefit from beautiful views across the gardens to the sea beyond.
In the morning our award-winning breakfast, served in the main house’s dinging room, will satisfy your guests’ hunger. Guests can select from a wide array of options from the best locally-sourced ingredients. Amongst the favourites are our full-cooked breakfast, our vegetarian options and Asian cuisine.
If your interests lie in activities such as hill walking, golf, fishing, cycling, exploring history at Culloden Battlefield, connecting with Outlander-esque standing stones such as those at the Clava Cairns, seeing the bottlenose dolphins or following the local Malt Whisky Trail, you’ll find yourself ideally based at Old Drynie House. We’re also the perfect starting and finishing point for the North Coast 500 road trip, central to many of the great northern golf courses and close to skiing facilities at the Cairngorms.
