Our Garden

Our twenty-arce Victorian parkland garden contains stunning mature trees of many varieties which are at least one hundred and fifty years old. Take a stroll around the garden, through the paddocks and even brave a stroll through the woods if you so desire.

Kilmuir Village

Our Bed & Breakfast is situated immediately above the historic village of Kilmuir. Formerly a fishing village, a fifteenth-century church and graveyard sit above the village, while a stony beach, iconic (and famous) red phone box, cottages and stunning views over the Moray Firth to Inverness and Nairn greet visitors.

If you walk along the beach towards the Kessock Bridge you’ll be able to reach Ord Hill and pass an old boat house. Walking in the opposite direction will take you to Munlochy Bay, which is a longer but equally beautiful walk around the coast to an area of specialist interest to scientists, as well as a bird breeding ground.
